Cloud Architecture Fundamentals focuses first on the fundamental skills necessary to work with cloud: a deep knowledge of distributed systems allows architects to easily work across different cloud platforms. The course spends time on the basic principles of service orientation that underlie all cloud architectures and explains why designing cloud systems involves preserving these qualities in the application layer.
The course then goes through the basic components of a PaaS system with most focus on how to handle non-functional requirements.
Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services platforms are used to demonstrate the principles.
The course is held in English.
