IT architecture, Software Architecture, Residuality TheoryWeinar: A New Kind of Architecture

With Barry O’Reilly
Software architecture has been spinning in a hamster wheel for decades. Many of the ideas that dominate software architecture can be traced back to a few papers in the 1970’s, and most new thinking is just variations on this.

Over the last decade one approach that spans both academia and industry has been the splicing of software architecture with the complexity sciences.

This webinar will talk about how this fusion affects how we think about architecture, the tools we use, and how we relate to other roles and how they relate to us. This creates a new kind of architecture that blows the cobwebs of the dusty frameworks of the early 2000’s and burns down the ivory tower - a new kind of architecture that makes sense to developers and architects alike.
