    Introduction to Modern Solution Architecture
    The Certified Advanced Software Architect Program aims to give you as a participant a solid understanding of software architecture in modern enterprise environments.

    In the modern world agile approaches are increasingly seeking ways to improve the quality of applications. This program aims to teach software architecture to an advanced level allowing you to make robust decisions about software structure, risk, and consider the business environment in which the software must execute. Much of the program is based on research within Software Engineering and Complexity.

    Personalized Learning Experience

    The program is delivered one-on-one and is designed as an individually tailored learning process, defined collaboratively between the instructor and the participant. This personalized approach ensures that the content aligns with your current experience, professional goals, and the specific challenges you face in your organization. It allows for deeper exploration of relevant topics, practical application to real-world cases, and a more efficient learning process with maximum professional impact.

    Scheduling & Certification Process

    The specific dates and times are scheduled after registration in agreement between the participant and the course leader. This flexible format ensures the program can be tailored to the participant’s needs and preferences. Sessions may therefore be scheduled in the evening if desired.

    After registration for the certification program, each candidate completes a pre-course assessment describing their proposed project, which will be used throughout the program. After review by the Certification Board, the candidate will either be accepted into the certification program or receive feedback if the project does not meet the required standards.

     

     
    • The course gives you:
    • Proof of your ability as an advanced software architect
    • Real world technical tools for managing complexity
    • A shared understanding of what architecture means in the modern world
     

    Target Group

    The program is aimed towards those software engineers who have found traditional approaches to architecture too rigid, as well as traditional architects who want to update their skills in a changing world where they are increasingly expected to be agile in their approaches.

     

    • This may include:
    • Accomplished architects who want proof of their skills
    • Senior software engineers who want to grow in their career
    • Solution and enterprise architects who want to learn a different approach to architecture than traditional top-heavy approaches.
    • Infrastructure architects who want a set of tools to manage the transition to cloud architectures.
    • Architect and engineering managers/CTO’s who want a clear definition of architecture for their teams
    • Teams of architects who lack a shared understanding of what architecture is
     

    Prerequisites and pre-course assessment

    To be accepted into the certification program, each candidate must complete a pre-course assessment, detailing their proposed project, which will be used throughout the program. Once the Certification Board reviews the project description, the candidate will either be accepted into the program or receive feedback if the project does not meet the required standards.

    In addition, the candidate must have completed the following courses.

     
    • The certification will state that: 
    • The candidate has taken all three courses 
    • The candidate has shown that they can deliver the needed artifacts to. High level of satisfaction  
    • The candidate has shown the capacity to learn and grow through the delivery of an architecture 
    • The candidate has delivered at least one architecture using the methods presented during the program
